(Mar 20 – Apr 19)

You might change jobs, move house or end a relationship. You’ll be busier, too. The year brings with it all the challenge and potential for making it on your own steam. By the sweat of your brow, your feats will be known. No shortcuts! And remember that those close to you deserve lives of their own and should be consulted before you jump ship, head for China or move to an igloo.

(Apr 20 – May 20)
As several years of preparation end, improvements in working conditions or chances of promotion loom. Your task is to build a more secure foundation for future efforts. In the process, there may be a few minor new beginnings or testing situations from mid-July. Your home may become a burden because of repairs or payments. Determination combined with flexibility and tolerance will make you unstoppable. When you recognise your strength, you truly value yourself as you should.
(May 21 – Jun 20)
Expansive Jupiter spends much of this year in a supportive space and life looks great after July 2018. Not only will your humour improve, but there’s also fun to be had. You’ll accomplish a great deal. Travel is high on the agenda. To keep your interest, you’ll need a job and an important hobby, since you’re better off having two of everything. Once you submit yourself to the need for boundaries and responsibilities, you become the sparkling, light-hearted Gemini who brightens the lives of those around you. Fortunately, you’ll have plenty opportunity to discover your light side in 2017.
(Jun 21 – Jul 22)
From July onwards you’re likely to breathe a sigh of relief as you emerge from the line of cosmic fire. Vulnerability later in the year may be felt in the financial arena. You’ll be interested in investing, saving, restructuring and consolidating debts. New job offers are likely. Take the one that broadens your scope and frees you from restrictive circumstances. Don’t be in a hurry. Your task is to shift over gently, not make a shamble of things through sudden change. When you feel restless and uncertain, you’re liable to be careless.
(Jul 23 – Aug 22)
With Saturn’s entry in your sign mid-year, you’ll know all about this tough taskmaster. To bring your activities up to the standard you desire you’ll take on onerous duties that limit your freedom. The discomfort is short-lived and you’re destined to get off lighter than most. Since you’re a natural royal, you often err in thinking you know what’s good for others. As this year unfolds, you must battle these inner dragons, including those of restless feelings, impatience, loneliness and fatigue. Master those and you’ll have your kingdom.
(Aug 23 – Sep 22)
Other people’s resources become important to you from April. As finances take priority, you’ll be more concerned with building your career or business than taking time out for social enjoyment. You may terminate some cycles and make new beginnings. Facing the unknown is the stuff of your nightmares. But this is your year to become more carefree and maybe even tolerant of chaotic situations. The more you criticise others, the more you straitjacket yourself and those around you.
(Sep23 – Oct 22)
Since the emphasis is on the exchanges you make with others, you’re likely to suit yourself by terminating some relationships and starting new ones. Relationship issues loom large. You’ll have to make up your mind (for once in your life) about what you want. There’ll be no turning back once you do. While Jupiter is in your sign for most of this year, make sure you understand your limits. You’ll realise time is a valuable resource and needs to be used wisely.
(Oct 23 – Nov 21)
Early in the year, life will be quieter. Not so, from mid-year onwards! You’re likely to find yourself taking the lead. As additional responsibilities come your way, your career is well starred provided you’ve not taken illegitimate shortcuts. The challenges you meet will reflect past behaviour. If you walked the straight and narrow, this will be a time of harvest. When it comes to feelings, living in some lukewarm, grey area just isn’t for you. Promote yourself through your best attributes, but cultivate detachment and tolerance at the same time.
(Nov 22 – Dec 21)
A little effort in the right direction will have dramatic results, because you’re in harmony with the universal flow of things. Support will arrive when you need it, especially since influential friends have your interests at heart. A cultural environment would inspire you to express yourself more creatively. You’re likely to become serious about an educational or travel matter during the second half of the year. Your underlying mean streak emerges when you want to be loved for the sake of your big fantasies and not for the noble and generous soul that you are.
(Dec 22 – Jan 20)
A resource to which you’d grown accustomed may become unavailable from August. You may need to co-operate and depend upon others financially to a greater degree. Alternatively, increased responsibility may involve debts or having to handle other people’s money. Throughout the year, career matters may see you vying for more power and security. The gift of love opens your heart and puts you in touch with your pleasure-loving side. Remember that if this year’s success comes at the expense of your personal life.
(Jan 21 – Feb 18)
As the world begins to see you as a confident person with much to offer, your reputation grows. This is the year to promote your skills. Long journeys are likely, whether they’re personally or professionally motivated. End-July coincides with the conclusion of a rather demanding work situation. From then on, your commitment to a joyful love affair or marriage will take precedence. This is the year to turn your attention to those closest to you. If you don’t, events from August will scream at you to take romance and the nurturing needs of others more seriously.
(Feb 19 – Mar 19)
You’re ready to commit yourself with greater dedication to what you want. To this end you’ll break free of your own resistance, which is in the form of excuses, feelings of inadequacy and an inhibiting mindset. Armed with realism and a true sense of your abilities, you realise you have the map. All you need do is follow it. If you manage to avoid excessive debt, watch for an upward spiral of growth at all levels from October. If you already developed muscle from swimming upstream, prepare to be noticed. But if you chose a passive role, external events may force you to stand up and be counted.
